Connect the lure and make sure the metal clip is fully closed. Inspect the string, feathers and attachment before every session.

Keep the chase within reach

Move the feathers along the floor with pauses between short sweeps. Let your cat stalk and catch the lure; avoid pulling it sharply away from their mouth.
